Jones Named first team all conference in football
Junior Center Sam Jones (6’5" /250) was named to the Suburban Orange First Team All Conference Offensive Line! The football coaches said of Sam “The anchor of our O-Line, Sam is a tireless worker and paved the way for our running game this season. Nothing but big things ahead for Sam on (and off) the field.”
Winter Sports Spirit Night
Winter Sports Spirit Night & Student/Faculty Basketball Game
On Monday, November 22 we will be showcasing our winter sports teams, followed by our
annual Student/Faculty Basketball Game. We hope this new tradition will allow our winter sport
athletes to be recognized and celebrated. Our Boys/Girls Wrestling team will have intersquad
matches in Gym C and our Girl’s Swim will have an intersquad swim meet. Plus, there will be a
200 Meter Freestyle Relay with four faculty members against the defending state champion 200
Meter Freestyle Team! In addition to this, our Boys/Girls Basketball teams will compete in
various skill competitions. To conclude the night, our Parkway South faculty will play the
students in the annual Student/Faculty Basketball game. All are invited to this evening!
Below is the schedule for the evening:
4:30-6:00PM – Boys/Girls Wrestling (GYM C); Girl’s Swim (Pool)
6:00PM – Gym A Open
6:00PM-6:30PM – Basketball Skills Competitions (GYM A)
6:30PM-6:45PM – Announce all Winter Sports (GYM A)
6:45PM – Warm Ups for Student/Faculty Basketball Game
7:00PM – Tip off
Halftime – Pep Band, Cheer, Dance will perform
There will be $3 Adult and $1 student charge for Student/Faculty Basketball Game. A portion
of the proceeds will benefit Special Olympics

QT Coupon Card Fundraiser
The varsity is planning a trip to The Hoosier Gym in Knightstown, IN this season to play in a game at the site where the movie Hoosiers was filmed. To help raise money for the trip, the high school basketball program will be selling QT Coupon Cards for $20. The card is a $58 value. They are available to pick up at your son’s practice.
