Great Weekend at KU Team Camp

The weekend of June 14-16, approximately 30 basketball players from South attended the Kansas University Team Camp in Lawrence, Kansas. The Freshmen, JV and Varsity teams played two games Friday night, three on Saturday and the Freshmen and JV played one on Sunday. The varsity team played high schools from Nebraska, Texas, Oklahoma, Illinois and Missouri. On Sunday, the varsity avenged their only loss on the weekend by beating West Hancock (Illinois), who beat them by 12 on Saturday, in the championship game of the small varsity division. The varsity finished the weekend 6-1. It was a great weekend of basketball for the Parkway South Program!
