The 12th Annual Lyndsey Ellis Memorial Tournament schedule is set and the Ellis Family and the Parkway South Basketball Program are looking forward to a great weekend of basketball! This tournament will help raise money for Scleroderma which is a rare disease that involves the hardening and tightening of the skin. It may also cause problems in the blood vessels, internal organs and digestive tract. Lindsey Ellis was a PSouth graduate that passed away from Scleroderma. Paul Ellis, her father, is a long time basketball coach, official, announcer and a huge basketball fan that started this tournament after Lyndsey passed in 2010 at the age of 20. The 2022-23 Freshmen team finished their season with a 14-7 record after a thrilling 45-42 win over University City Thursday night at Parkway South. The game was back and forth throughout and came down to a missed three point attempt to make the Patriots victorious! Tyler Shanfeld led all scorers with 20 points in the win.

The Lindbergh Flyers beat the Patriots in both the JV and Varsity games. The JV final was 45-37, Sam Duncan led South with eight points.
The varsity had a 17-16 lead after the first quarter but never saw the lead again losing 55-48. Jaylen Calloway led South with 12 points.
