Parkway South Patriots Basketball

VARSITY HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR WEDNESDAY, JV AND FRESHMAN WILL PLAY.

All three levels will play at different sites Wednesday night. The only level that will have spectators will be the Freshman team as they play at home, two spectators per player/coach. Locations and live links are listed below:

Both the JV and the Varsity teams will compete in tournaments the week of January 25th. The JV team will play Wednesday at 5:30 at Rockwood Summit. The Wednesday game will be against either Liberty or Borgia. Only the host school will be allowed two spectators.
The Varsity team will open the Circle 7 Showdown at home on Monday against the DeSmet Spartans at 4:30. Wednesdays game will be against either Lafayette or Hazelwood Central at 4:30, the location will be announced later. Host schools will be allowed two spectators per player/coach and they must have a ticket to enter.

Many of the Jr. Patriots teams participated in the CNR Tournament Series for January 16-17 and many had success in their brackets!
In the 5th Grade LeBron James Division, the Patriots Blue Team played in the third place game but fell to Triple Threat Academy 40-17.
The 6th Grade Blue Team (team picture to left) playing in the Horace Grant Division dropped their first game Saturday to the Knights but came back Sunday with wins over Winfield 31-9 and Fort Zumwalt West 35-16 to finish in second place in pool play!
The 7th Grade Blue Team dropped two games Saturday, however on Sunday they came from 12 down in the first half to take their first lead with with a three pointer with 1:30 to go in the game as they went on to win 35-31 over Riverbend Illinois to finish third in their pool.
8th Grade Blue Team played in the Craig Ehlo Division and opened up with a six point lose to the eventual tourney champions, Calhoun. Later Saturday
afternoon they won 48-47 over Fort Zumwalt West and moved on to the third place game Sunday night at Fox High School. There, they played the Mavericks White team and took the third place medal with a 48-36 victory.

Each JV and Varsity players are allowed two spectators to be in attendance at the game. When entering the game, please tell the person at the table the name of the player you are representing.

This week is the end of the first semester for the Parkway School District. Finals will be January 13th and 14th…STUDY!!
