Parkway South Patriots Basketball

Congratulations to the 7th Grade Blue team on finishing second in the CNR “Barkley” Tournament the weekend of February 6th and 7th! The team opened the tournament with a 43-27 win over Northwest then dropped the second game to Parkway West Saturday morning. Needing a win Sunday morning to secure second place, the team held of Francis Howell Gold 39-34. Congrats to coaches Brittany and Pete Willis and team members for Sunday’s game: Lamont Foster, Zaden Johnson, Tristan Jones, Tyler Shanfeld, Wyatt Simmons, John Tanurchis and Grant Williams.
The 5th Grade Blue team won their second league game of the season Saturday afternoon 38-32 of previous unbeaten 314 Spartans. The team coached by Mike Hill only had five players available but was able to beat the Spartans without any breaks. The team Saturday consisted of Brennan Boyer, Jordan Heitz, Kyle Hill, Jack Leicht, and Ty Veltrop. Congratulations Patriots!!
