Jr. Patriots Success in the CNR Tournament (Jan. 16-17)

Many of the Jr. Patriots teams participated in the CNR Tournament Series for January 16-17 and many had success in their brackets!
In the 5th Grade LeBron James Division, the Patriots Blue Team played in the third place game but fell to Triple Threat Academy 40-17.
The 6th Grade Blue Team (team picture to left) playing in the Horace Grant Division dropped their first game Saturday to the Knights but came back Sunday with wins over Winfield 31-9 and Fort Zumwalt West 35-16 to finish in second place in pool play!
The 7th Grade Blue Team dropped two games Saturday, however on Sunday they came from 12 down in the first half to take their first lead with with a three pointer with 1:30 to go in the game as they went on to win 35-31 over Riverbend Illinois to finish third in their pool.
8th Grade Blue Team played in the Craig Ehlo Division and opened up with a six point lose to the eventual tourney champions, Calhoun. Later Saturday
afternoon they won 48-47 over Fort Zumwalt West and moved on to the third place game Sunday night at Fox High School. There, they played the Mavericks White team and took the third place medal with a 48-36 victory.
