Despite the loss, Parkway South still got an impressive performance from Eddie Ahearn, who scored 26 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that’s the most points Ahearn has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ryan Shanfeld, who scored 12 points.

Parkway South’s loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Timberland, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-8.

Parkway South will be playing at home against Riverview Gardens at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Parkway South is facing Riverview Gardens at the right time seeing as Riverview Gardens is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Timberland, they won’t have much time to rest: their next match is against Howell Central at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st. Timberland is coming into the matchup with four straight victories on the road, so Howell Central will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.

The 23-24 JV season came to a close Tuesday night at Timberland and the team ended on a high note by beating the Wolves 47-41. They were lead by Sam Duncan with 20 points. On the season, the JV went 15-10 and 4-2 in conference play.

The Parkway South Patriots will head out on the road to face off against the Timberland T-Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Parkway South has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Timberland will arrive with three straight wins.

Last Thursday, Parkway South came up short against University City and fell 54-43. The loss doesn’t tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Eddie Ahearn, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Mallory, who scored ten points along with six assists.

Meanwhile, even though Fort Zumwalt East scored an imposing 64 points on Tuesday, Timberland still came out on top. Timberland managed a 70-64 victory over Fort Zumwalt East.

Parkway South has been struggling recently as they’ve lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season. As for Timberland, they pushed their record up to 16-8 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both the JV and the Varsity dropped their games with U. City Thursday night by the same score, 54-43. JV was led by Jacob Sidwell with 12 points. They will play their final game of the season Tuesday night at 4:30 at Timberland High School.
Varsity was led by Eddie Ahearn with 10 points and nine rebounds and Joseph Mallory with 10 points and six assists. Varsity will be at Timberland Tuesday night for a 6:00 tip off.
