Eddie Ahearn, class of 2024 had a great showing at the Prep Baseball Report (PBR) the last weekend of July. The mission of the Prep Baseball Report is to scout and promote amateur baseball – high school, junior college and college – and, ultimately, help athletes achieve their dreams of playing baseball at the next level. Ahearn, a forward on the basketball team, quarterback on the football team and a pitcher and catcher on the baseball team at South had a pop time from the catcher position of 1.96-2.06. At the plate he had an exit velo of 90 and on the mound his top pitch speed was 88 MPH.

Adam Sommer, a 2020 graduate of Parkway South has committed to play basketball at Belmont Abbey College in Charlotte, North Carolina! Belmont Abbey is a Division II school that competes in the Conference Carolinas. At South, Adam averaged 11.8 PPG for his career with 888 points. In the teams second game of his senior year, Adam tore is ACL after averaging 18.9 PPG in his junior season. Adam was poised to rewrite the PSH record book if it wasn’t for the injury. We all wish Adam luck at BAC!!

The Parkway South Patriots have moved their home game agasint Oakville to The Twelve Courts Of Christmas Shootout at HyVee Arena in Kansas City on December 17th. The Twelve Courts Of Christmas Shootout is in it’s second year and has nearly 200 teams from around the Midwest participating.
