On Tuesday night at Parkway South, the Freshmen came from down double digits to win on a buzzer beater by Isaiah Scott by the score of 44-43. Tyler Shanfeld led all scorers with 18 points.
The JV had a 15 point lead in the second half only to lose by the score of 60-59.
In the late game, the varsity took a seven point lead into the half but the Falcons got hot in the second half and beat the Patriots 70-63. Eddie Ahearn led all scorers with 25 points.

The freshman knocked off Ritenour Wednesday night at Parkway South, 46-21 to improve their record to 6-2! The JV beat Ritenour last week and did it again Wednesday by the score of 62-46. Their record stands at 7-5 on the season.
The varsity led early then trailed late, but had a chance at the end to win but fell short 60-59. Eddie Ahearn led the team with 21 points and seven rebounds. The varsity record is 10-4.

Jaylen Calloway, fresh off of his buzzer beater game winner against Whitfield was named to the MICDS All Tournament Team as voted on by the coaches! Jaylen scored 65 points, made 5 three pointers, recorded 10 assists, and shot 69.2% from the foul line in the four games at the tournament!!

The varsity Patriots dug themselves a hole but managed to dig their way out Friday afternoon in the Don Maurer Holiday Invitational at MICDS. South was down 10-0 after the first four minutes of the game and was down as much as 19 points in the first half. Evan Renz opened the second half with a three pointer to give the Patriots momentum and with 1:20 left in the third quarter, South took the lead that they would not relinquish! Jaylen Calloway made a tip in off of his own miss to win the game 63-61 at the buzzer!!

The Sixth Grade Red team won the consolation championship in the CNR Jingle Jam Tournament with a 23-15 win over TLK-Red Thursday night. Also, Thursday the varsity team won 85-80 over St. Mary’s to advance to the fifth place game tomorrow against Whitfield at 1:30 in the MICDS Tournament. The varsity was led by Eddie Ahearn’s 26 points, a career high!
