The Patriots traveled to HyVee Arena in Kansas City, MO Saturday afternoon to play in the 12 Courts of Christmas Shootout and came away with a 53-47 overtime win over Oakville. South led throughout the game and took a 44-37 lead with 3:38 to play only to see the Tigers score the final seven points to send the game to OT. In overtime, Evan Renz made all four of free throws to seal the victory. Three Patriots finished in double figures…Jaylen Calloway 15, and Even Renz, 12. Eddie Ahearn had his third double double of the season (14 points, 15 rebounds)! With the win, Parkway South improved their record to 5-2.

The Varsity and JV teams played North Point in the Suburban/GAC Shootout Thursday night and both came away with victories. The varsity won 52-28 at Lindenwood University behind a game high 13 from Jaylen Calloway. At home, the JV won 45-24 as Sam Duncan led the team with 7 points. The Freshman traveled to Liberty High School and lost 58-43, Tyler Shanfeld led the team with 13 points.
