The Parkway South Patriots’s homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Lindbergh Flyers at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th.

Last Friday, Parkway South took a serious blow against McCluer North, falling 57-19. The result shouldn’t come as a shock considering that’s the fewest points Parkway South has scored all season.

Parkway South’s defeat shouldn’t obscure the performances of Ryan Shanfeld, Eddie Ahearn and Joe Mallory who scored four points each.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Parkway South struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That’s the fewest assists they’ve managed all season.

Meanwhile, Lindbergh pushed their score all the way to 57 on Tuesday, but even that wasn’t enough to win. They fell just short of Ladue Horton Watkins by a score of 60-57. On Friday, they rebounded against Parkway West and won 56-39.

Parkway South has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Lindbergh, their win moved their record to 17-5.

Parkway South came up short against Lindbergh in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 55-48. Will Parkway South have more luck at home instead of on the road?

As for Hazelwood West, they dropped their record down to 5-16 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
