For Immediate Release: November 18, 2020
Major changes include: No spectators, no locker room use, masks must be worn by all people who are inside.

Per the updates to guidelines by the St Louis County Health Department this morning and the subsequent action by the St Louis Suburban Association, we have adopted the attached regulations for home events. These will be in effect until further notice.

Please look them over carefully for each sport that you will be participating in at Parkway South this winter (boys/girls basketball, girls swim/dive and boys/girls wrestling). Your cooperation and preparedness in advance of visiting us will be greatly appreciated.

Two major changes to take note of:
We will not be hosting any spectators at this time. Players, coaches, managers, administrators and other team personnel (such as a camera person for streaming) WILL be allowed into games. This does NOT include general spectators, including family members. (This is a conference wide policy)
Everyone MUST WEAR A face covering AT ALL TIMES. This includes participants in contests. (This is a Department of Health policy)
The only exception to that guideline would be swimmers in the water. They may remove masks just prior to entering the water but must put them back on immediately after exiting the pool.
.
We will continue to revisit and adapt our guidelines to the ever changing landscape in St. Louis County and within the Suburban Conference.
